Cowboys at Dusk Part 8I opened my eyes to the sun sining on my face. I sat up in my bed and rubbed my head. The door creaked open and I saw Leli, the nurse from earlier walk in. She was carrying my clothes, all of them. I brought the blanket up to cover myself and looked out the window.
"I washed your clothes and repaired them for you," She said.
"Thank you," I continued looking out the window.
She left the room and I was alone. The sun was warm and inviting but the bed was much more comfortable. I lay back down and looked at the celing. Then I heard it. The metalic neigh. It was more frantic than angry. People outside started yelling and screaming.
"Don't let it escape!"
"They must burn in hell!"
I sat up again and heard footsteps from the hall run to my room. The nurse had run back to my room and she was pale. Gibson and Tony came in after her both as pale as her.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Shut up we have to leave now," Gibson came over and helped me up.
